Become an Affiliate Engineer

An offer for engineers with an existing client base that need quality studio space at a reasonable rate.

This is a hands free affiliation between the engineer and Waves & Dreams studio. As an engineer that rents space at Waves & Dreams Studio, you will increase your keep and be able to book without management interference. To become an affiliate engineer and take advantage of the benefits, you must have a healthy client base that brings you 30+ hours of studio work per month. After vetting, you will be onboarded, shown operation of the room/equipment and briefed on studio policy. Then, you will receive access to the studio and will be free to book the space for your pending sessions.

  • Fee Freedom

    Book a Space Rental. Charge your clients what you want and pay yourself.

  • Reasonable Rates

    Many studios charge $50/hr or more to book a room without a house engineer. Our booking fees are substantially lower, and do not compromise on quality.

  • Book Anytime

    As long as there is availability, you can book anytime. You will have your own set of keys to enter the building and passcode to enter the studio.

  • Bonus Hours

    For every 4 hours you book, you receive 1 bonus hour. Bonus hours are calculated at the end of the month and may be used the following month to reserve fully discounted studio time for your personal projects, productions, mixes, etc.

  • Referral Sessions

    The studio’s client-base is growing. There may be additional sessions available, in which we can hire you to engineer a session for one of our clients. In this case, the studio will pay you.

  • Quality Sound

    The studio features a treated vocal booth with an Aviom personal mixer and a U87 mic, and a well treated stage area for recording group vocals/instruments. Our selection of gear is expanding.

The studio is not only interested in partnering with engineers, but producers as well. We are connected with a growing network of musicians, producers, and artists, constantly exploring ways to get their musical ideas to meet, whether it be in production, songwriting, mixing, etc.

As an associate engineer, you will become a part of the tight-knit community we are building that supports independent creatives and entrepreneurs in music. We support each other’s performances, release dates, and musical development. Waves & Dreams is bigger than a studio. It is an initiative.
